2025 One Year Joint Research and Teaching Fellowship Opportunity for a Perimeter Quantum Matter Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Perimeter Institute is pleased to be seeking a PSI Teaching Fellow to join our Academic Staff in support of our education and training mandates for the 2025-2026 year.  This one-year appointment provides an ideal opportunity for a current Perimeter postdoc to extend their appointment at Perimeter for an additional year while gaining valuable teaching and mentorship experience, which can enhance their chances of securing an academic position.  Scheduled to commence September 2025, for one year of which nine (9) months of your total working time throughout the year will be spent on contributions in the Training, Educational Outreach and Scientific Programs (TEOSP) department.  In this role you will be responsible for the tutorials, homework assignments, and interviews (if applicable) for the Statistical Physics, Quantum Matter, Numerical Methods and Machine Learning courses. In addition, you will lead the Statistical Physics portion of the PSI Bridge program and teach a course in the PSI Start program. PSI Fellows are involved in the admissions process for both the PSI and PSI Start programs, and other administrative duties as needed.

To be eligible, you must be a current postdoctoral researcher at Perimeter.
